  • MeFOTO Backpacker Air Travel Friendly Tripod Review

I've been searching for the perfect tripod for a while now - something that is small enough to fit easily into my carry-on luggage, but capable enough for use with both my phone camera and my DSLR. The MeFOTO Backpacker Air travel tripod comes as close as any that I've experienced so far and makes a great addition to my travel gear.

  • With Brydge Keyboard Your iPad Is Even More Travel Friendly

    Tracking Pixel

Each time I go out, it's time to make decisions - do I just go with only my phone? Or, should I take my laptop and tablet too? I've tested a lot of keyboards for iPad and honestly most of them fall short, so I was really impressed with Brydge since it looks great, is well manufactured, and when connected, it feels sturdy - almost like it was a first party addon rather than a manufacturer other than Apple itself. Because of this, for many trips - and especially quick business meetings and offsite brainstorming sessions - this keyboard makes it possible to leave the laptop at home.

  • Gift Guide For Yourself To Make New Years Resolutions Easier

One of the toughest things about setting New Years resolutions is that it's "just words". This year though, C+A Global a company that you might never have heard of (till now!), but is a global company matching innovative design with an extensive portfolio of brands including Zink, Polaroid, and Gold's Gym. As a blogger, I get spoiled by the latest and greatest products with the most amazing features so I was very impressed with what C+A Global presented when I met with them at CES. Instead of focusing just on aspirational products that you'll never be able to afford, they are producing the products you need and want... at a price you can afford. Over the next few months, we'll be highlighting a few of their products here, but let's kick things off by exploring how these products can help me... and you... make the most of our New Years resolutions!

  • My Icebug Boots Have Traveled The World and I LOVE Them

It would have been easy to simply bang out a few hundred words about how nice these boots looked and felt five minutes after opening the box and trying them on for the first time. However, it was clear that what Ice Bug sent me wasn't those kind of shoes. They pretty much begged to get out and explore... so I honored their request! Since September, these boots have climbed sandstone mesas in San Diego, hiked through Germany's Black Forest and explored the prairies of North Dakota as well as the mountains of Idaho and deserts of California

  • Tivoli ART Wireless Speaker

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tivoli Audio for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Christmas shopping season is almost over so there's still time to get something special, but we think this one is good enough that you'll want to buy it for yourself too! There's no shortage of companies selling wireless speakers out there, but I have a special place in my heart for products from Tivoli Audio since they not only sound great - but look great too and tend to be very high quality construction. That's certainly the case with the Tivoli ART speaker too!

  • Oral-B Genius Pro 8000 Electric Tooth Brush

When it comes to gift giving, sometimes those over-the-top items are just perfect and so we were excited to test out the Oral-B Genius electric toothbrush. Never in my life did I expect to ever be the owner of a toothbrush that connected to my camera through Bluetooth so it could monitor my brushing pasterns, but here we are... thanks Oral-B! At $249.99, this isn't the cheapest item on our gift list for guys but it is a perfect idea for someone who wants to combine smart home technology with looking great.

  • Tenba Roadie - The Perfect Camera Bag For Guys Who Travel

I think I may have found the ultimate camera bag provides me with exactly what I need. What I have been searching for. I now have ONE BAG to house all of my gear when I travel. This Roadie 22" Backpack by Tenba is pretty close to my dream camera bag. It is sturdy and "Carry On" compatible, with lots of space to store gear - while still having a little room for a change of clothes and other incidentals like toiletries. At one point, I was happy with a standard carry on and a small camera bag but as I started to need more gear on trips - laptop, tablet, gopro, tripod, DSLR, lenses, filters, chargers, cables, etc. my needs grew exponentially. However, after just a few days of receiving the Tenba Roadie 22", I'm pretty sure I've found exactly what I have been searching for.

  • Allen Brothers Steaks - Because the Best Gift For Guys is Meat!

There are a lot of great gift ideas you can get for the men in your life but there's one that is my new favorite. Meat By Mail! Allen Brothers sent us a box of bone-in ribeyes this week and while I was initially skeptical because they arrive frozen, I'm convinced now that this is probably one of the best gifts for guys who love to grill.

  • Panasonic Eneloop Batteries Are Ready To Power What's Under Your Tree

It's Christmas morning and there are boxes of toys (and maybe a few gadgets for yourself too) strewn across the floor. Then, you notice the dreaded phrase "Batteries Not Included". Luckily, Santa delivered some Panasonic Eneloop batteries and your morning is saved!

  • Innovation Tastes Great with Malt Shop Cookies

Malt is a special gift from the gods... it make beer better, milkshakes more tasty, and now it's in cookies as well. Malt Shop Cookies is the creation of two guys that decided to try something new by adding malted milk to a chocolate chip cookie. Now their innovation is available for you to give to your friends and family!

  • Who's Got The Hottest Selling NFL Jersey RIGHT NOW?

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of DICK'S Sporting Goods. All opinions are 100% mine.

Sports jersey's make a great gift for any guy in your life that loves sports. With football season in full effect, this is a gift that can be worn immediately and shown off in those every important holiday pictures to show everyone else how awesome your holiday haul was. Until now though, it was a pretty straight forward process that was completely transnational. DICK'S Sporting Goods though has switched things up and made jersey shopping more fun with the introduction of their Jersey Report site.

  • Holiday Gift Ideas for The Active Man

In case you haven't noticed, Holiday shopping season is officially here and almost every woman I talk to is looking for great gift ideas for the men in their lives. From husbands to their dads and even sons, this can be a confusing time but I have some great gift ideas that I'd like to share on behalf of Babble Box who sent me some products to share with you guys. If you agree that these are some great gift ideas, then just share this page with your female friends and help a brother out!

  • HopperGo Let's Your Take Your Shows With You

Today, everyone seems to be offering the ability to stream, and the cloud has never been a more powerful force. But what about those times when you can't access high speed internet? That’s when you realize just how limited we still are today. That's why I love the concept behind HopperGO, since it offers untethered entertainment you can take with you—traveling on the go, in the car, even camping in a remote part of the country where there's no internet service.

  • Saves Money & Looks Great: WiserAir Smart Thermostat Review

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Schneider Electric. All opinions are 100% mine.

While most "smart home" gadgets are designed simply to make your life easier or just more fun, some can actually justify the expense by saving you money. That's the case with the smart thermostat category, so I was thrilled to spend some time reviewing the WiserAir smart thermostat from Schneider Electric.

  • Dromida XL FPV 370mm Camera Drone Review

Drones were once a luxury item reserved only for those who had thousands of dollars to spend... but things are changing and when Dromida offered to send me their latest drone, I was initially disappointed that it was only priced at about $250. At that price it must be terrible right?... I was wrong! It's actually a great drone and the absolutely perfect entry level FPV drone for someone who might not want to invest in the expensive hardware before confirming that they really want to start a potentially expensive new hobby.

  • Brinno TLC120 Time Lapse Camera and ART200 Pan Lapse Review

There's something magical about being able to control the way time unfolds... those clouds that look static suddenly billow and fluff as they float across the sky. Many people have played with time lapse features on their camera phone or even a DSLR at one point or another - myself included - but there are two big challenges. The first is that nobody that I know wants to surrender their phone to a process that can take hours or even days. Second, even if you have a spare phone, chances are it isn't going to do well in the elements such as rain, a heavy dew, and even hot blowing dust and sand... even if the battery was somehow to last long enough. Enter Brinno's TLC-200 camera!

  • Niki Belle Loves Her Truly Pawsome Dog Treat Gift Box

I love "of the month" gift boxes, it's a fun way to get new and interesting stuff each month but honestly "I" don't need more stuff. Niki Bell though on the other hand sometimes gets left out and so when Truly Pawsome contacted us the other day offering to send her a birthday present I was super excited to FINALLY have a package that was actually for her.

  • Your Kenmore Alfie Shopping Assistant For Men on the Go

We all need more time our our days and shopping is one of those things that I think most guys hate - except maybe shopping for gadgets and car stuff :) As one of the oldest retailers out there, Sears is stuck in an interesting place compared to some of their newer competitors. They are literally in a race to reform they way people shop and are working to innovate by trying to create a network of personal shoppers with a human touch.

  • Avi-8 Hawker Hurricane Watch - Inspired By the Royal Air Force

I'm a junkie for history and things that have heritage - this goes especially true for historic aircraft. While today's pilots are incredible too, there was something special about those guys in the first half of the 20th century who strapped into flying machines and went wing to wing with their adversaries vs simply firing missiles from over the horizon. So, it's no mistake that Avi-8 would launch a line of watches inspired by these heroes to appeal to guys like me to forgo the tech-forward "smart watch" and instead go for something extremely masculine without being "hipster".

  • Who You Gonna Call? Ghostbusters Plush Stay Puft Man

Looking for a fun gift for the guys in your life? We think this Stay Puft man is pretty cool as ar the other products that Underground Toys has produced as part of their license with the Ghostbusters movie. While honestly I hate feminized movies that are made simply for the fact of making it a "girl thing", these toys are fun and you can just pretend that it's a throw back to the original series if you want when you buy this as a gift for the man in your life!

  • Travel Backpack - Perfect Piece of Luggage for Men Who Travel

I've tested a LOT of luggage over the years and most of it falls into pretty conventional categories and the result ends up simply being an aestetic choice determining which I use. Then there are those "innovators" that seem cool but simply fall flat. When I was approached by Standard Luggage to do a review of their new Travel Backpack during some upcoming trips I was a bit skeptical but I'm usually willing to give something a chance if it fits a need I genuinely am looking to fill.

  • VerveRider+ Wireless Earbud Review

I get a LOT of headphones to review and this is a category that seems endless in the number of innovations. Usually though, the innovations are almost imperceptible to anyone without sophisticated equipment to test the sound quality while the rest are based entirely on style. What impressed me about VerveRider+ though is that the innovations are practical and it looks great as well as sounding good too.

  • Shredding The Pavement With Onewheel!

I recently got a chance to check out an innovative new product that's a cross between a hoverboard and a skateboard but it's equally fun on pavement as it is on trails out in the woods. Sound fun? Let's check it out!

  • World of Tanks Plastic Model Kit

Back in March I was visiting the General George Patton Museum and was able to see some incredible tanks up close. It was really exciting to think of being able to drive a tank, feel the power of controlling one. I will probably never get to do that in real life but I could control many tanks in the video game World of Tanks. World of Tanks is an online free to play game where you pilot a tank along with a team in simulated warfare. The game was over 300 armored vehicles from many countries including the USA, Germany, France, the UK, Japan, China and the Soviet Union.

  • Awesome Car Gifts for Dad from Escort and Cobra

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Escort Radar for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Pretty much all guys love cars and gadgets, so even though Father's Day is over this year, consider combining the two of those passions by getting the men in your life some awesome car gadgets! We've had a chance to use the Escort Max 360 a lot over the past few months, but there are some other awesome gift ideas from Escort's sister company Cobra as well. Of course, you could always just buy these for yourself too!

  • Samsung POWERbot Review: a Vacuum That Men Will Want To Use

Housework isn't my favorite task but I love technology, gadgets, and mobile phones. So I was super excited to review the new Samsung POWERbot Wi-Fi from Best Buy. It is the 6th generation robotic vacuum from Samsung and it departs from it's competitors (and predecessors) by introducing a design that looks just like a standard upright but without the stick. Additionally, like you would expect from any Samsung product it also packs in tons of features to make it that much more useful.

  • I'm in Love with the Vinturi Vertical Lever Corkscrew!

If you are going to get dad a corkscrew for Father's Day then you had better get him a damn good one. Luckily the Vinturi Vertical Lever Corkscrew falls into that category and I'm thrilled to have it as part of my permanent bar tools collection now!

  • Score a Touchdown This Year With a Wilson Custom Football

    Tracking Pixel

Dad deserves something custom that you made just for him this year. It's sort of like how you used to make that macaroni artwork in school, except now this is something that he will REALLY want to keep forever. OK, I kid - but serious, gifts that you make special for someone are always the best and now you can create a custom Wilson football for your dad or really any other person in your life. We recently got a chance to check it out and I personally love it!

  • Introducing the VIZIO SmartCast P-Series TV

For a while there, TV's were just about higher resolution, bigger screens, more contrast - and those are all great things that we now take for granted. But what's exciting to me is when companies make their products BETTER to use. That means not just slapping "smart" on the the chassis but actually doing something to make them more user friendly and more capable. That's what VIZIO is trying to do with their new P-Series line of SmartCast Ultra HD High Dynamic Range Home Theater Display™ TVs.

  • Gladiator GearBox Review - Like a Safe For Your Tools!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gladiator GarageWorks. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have been a fan of the Gladiator brand for many years. Sometimes though, it's hard to believe that the same company (Whirlpool) that makes machines designed for the kitchen and laundry room can make some of the toughest, most manly organization products on the market today. Well, actually that's not so surprising when you think about the durability and design that everyone loves from their products in the Kitchenaid, Whirlpool, and Maytag brands. But when it comes to the garage, Gladiator is one of my favorite brands and once you experience it yourself, you'll see why.

  • Building A Custom Bike is a Great Father's Day Present

How many times have you thought about - or maybe you did - buying a bike for your kids? Those late Christmas Eve nights spent in the cold garage, quietly assembling the bike so they wouldn't hear... only to surprise them on Christmas morning... Now it's your turn! Granted, you won't be able to keep it a surprise but this would make a great opportunity for you to spend some time with the kids and teach them some important mechanical lessons. Heck - as I found out, it's a great opportunity for yourself even, since you'll get a much better appreciation for the different parts of your bike compared to simply buying it from the store.

  • MOTA JETJAT Nano-C Micro Camera Drone Review

Camera drones are all the rage right now and they are typically hundreds dollars or more and require a license to fly. For those of you that just want to play around though or for those that want to see if this is something you actually want to invest in, the MOTA JETJAT Nano-C is perfect option.

  • Introducing the Octa Spider Monkey Tablet Stand

One of the first reviews I ever did for this site was a product from Octa when they were just starting out. It was a quirky tablet suction cup mount for tablets with a whale's tail shaped kick stand. Since then, the company has grown and expanded but they've maintained their sense of humor and design acumen for creating ingenious solutions that are as fun as they are useful.

  • SanDisk at CES - More Ways to Store Your Stuff!

SanDisk is a brand that I trust with my stuff and over the years I seem to be creating more and more content from more and more devices, so it was exciting to learn about the great new products that SanDisk presented at CES this year. Echoing some of my previous posts about CES, SanDisk is similarly focused on developing solutions for making tech "livable".

  • Huawei Nexus 6P Mobile Phone Review

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Huawei for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I'm somewhat of a phone geek and that's why I LOVE to get my hands on the latest and greatest devices. In the past, it was easy when someone asked me, "What's your favorite phone?" Today though, the reality is there are a ton of great devices out there from a variety of manufacturers. Over the past few weeks though, I've had a chance to explore life with the Nexus 6P, and I really love it.

  • Escort Max 360 Radar Detector Review

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Escort Radar + Laser Detectors for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Honestly this was a lot of fun and I was afraid for a few moments that I was going to end up paying the San Diego police department for the pleasure of reviewing the product instead of making some money myself. However, I'm happy to share that this is an awesome device that while you should never speed - is a good thing to have in your car to help make you more aware of what's going on around you.

  • Thanks to Highland Titles, You May Now Call Me Lord!

What do you get that guy who has everything? He already has the latest gadgets, the best clothes, and a collection of Scotch whisky's that rivals the bar down the street. The simple answer is what every guy has thought about at one point or another - prestige in the form of a real legal title. "Doctors" are a dime a dozen these days, but how many Lords, Lairds, and Ladies do you know? Now you can give someone that honor easily and it's totally affordable.

  • ZTE Spro 2 - Gift it To Yourself Because it's "For Work"

Just like the Esquire Mini I wrote about earlier, sometimes it's nice to find devices that cross over between work and play. That's exactly what the Spro 2 does and it's fantastic. Last week, I was able to take it with me on a client meeting and project a report on their wall... and then take it back to the hotel room and watch a movie. So don't worry about who you are going to buy it for... use some of those points you've racked up recently and just buy it for yourself :)

  • For Work or For Fun, Esquire Mini Sounds as Good as it Looks

There's a lot of great Bluetooth speakers on the market right now at a variety of different price points but it's not often that I find one that I actually want to keep and use. That's how I felt about the Esquire Mini when I received it in a gift bag a few months ago and so I am thrilled to be able to share it with you today. It's pretty darn near the perfect speaker in a lot of ways - looks great, sounds great, compact enough to travel easily, and serves as more than just something to listen to music with.

  • Herschel Supply Co Johnny Wallet

There's a lot of stuff that brands pitch to me to write about (and I appreciate that) but other times there's a great company that stumble across and is so good that I want you guys to know all about it. That's the case with Herschel Supply Company and this amazing Johnny Wallet that my wife gave me.

  • Merge VR Goggles Review

VR is going to be the big gift this year and you are going to see a lot of options ranging from Google's "card board" to units costing hundreds of dollars, but right there in the middle is Merge. At only $99 it's a great option to kick off the VR revolution in your home.

  • Speeding Ticket and Radar Detector Facts You May Not Know

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Escort Radar + Laser Detectors for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

At some point in your driving career you will exceed the speed limit and most of us will get a ticket at least once in our lives. That doesn't make you a bad person, but there are ways you can help prevent that. One is to be more diligent about your speed and the posted limits. The other way is to employ a device such as a radar detector that helps to alert you when you might be in trouble.

  • Drool Worthy Gifts for Guys From Samsung

We're finally in December and it's time to plan our shopping lists. The folks at Samsung have some great ideas for the good men on our shopping lists! From tablets to watches to VR headsets and ridiculously high resolution TV screens, this has been an amazing year for technology. It's hard for me to pick the one item that I love the most but since I've had a chance to go hands on with the Galaxy Tab S2, lets start there!

  • Netgear ReadyNAS is Great For People Who Love to Travel

One of the things that can be frustrating for anyone who loves to travel is that you simply can't take everything with you. That's true for your closet, but it's also true for your data. While cloud services such as DropBox and Google Drive do a great job for files, I personally like to have my own cloud and that's where NETGEAR's ReadyCLOUD comes into play. It essentially offers all the things that my complicated intranet server offered - but with an easy to use interface and minimal configuration complexity.

  • Tivoli Audio Model One BT Review

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tivoli Audio for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

While the world seems obsessed with digital screens today, there was once a time when knobs and dials were chic. Whether we look at those products as being fashionably retro or legitimately practical it almost doesn't matter when the quality, style, and sound produced by the device is spectacular. That's pretty much my review for the Tivoli Audio Model One BT and you could just stop here and visit their website to buy one, or you can continue reading to see how much I love this radio.

  • Stanley Wants to Help You Hold Your Booze Better

Hey, it's the holidays and that means you're probably going to be doing some drinking. No judgement here but that's just a fact for most of us. The question is - will you be able to hold it? Or are you going to be that guy that's all sloppy and drips his beer on the floor because you don't have a pint glass with a cover on it or a flask with a top? Stanley has some great new products this holiday that would make any guy proud to find them under the tree, but they work great as groomsman and host gifts too.

First up, we have The Classic Wide Mouth Flask. While I've had my share of flasks over the years, usually they are pretty boring and rather flimsy because they are essentially designed to be disposable in case they get caught. On the other hand, a flask really does serve a purpose if you are camping - or even just going out to the beach with the guys.

Classic Wide Mouth Flask retails for $25.00

stanley adventure happy hour shaker 20oz stainless.pt04

Next up we have the Nesting Steel Happy Hour System. Even in the woods it's important to be able to whip up a margarita and now you can. Though frankly I think this one is a great addition to your private bar out in the garage and I really like the fact that while most cocktail kits just come with a shaker that this one includes a juicer too.

Nesting Happy Hour System retails for $35.00

    growler

Stanley is an expert in the field of vacuum steel containers having been manufacturing them since 1913 so it's good to see that the technology is be applied to more than just soup and coffee...

In San Diego we have no shortage of breweries but sometimes you want to be able to take your favorite brew home to enjoy and that's where this Vacuum Steel Growler comes in handy. As any beer connoisseur will tell you - light is the enemy of beer. So it's interesting to me that many growlers are still essentially just glass jugs. Don't worry though - you'll look like a pro when you go in for your fill-up knowing that your beer is going to be kept cold and protected from the light until it's time to pour.

Vacuum Steel Growler retails for $50.00.

classic vacuum pint 16oz hammertone crimson exploded

Speaking of pouring your beer... the fourth and final part of this great collection is a Vacuum Steel Pint. While it looks like a coffee mug, the same principals that keep coffee hot are going to work here to keep your beer cold.

Plus, this means you can take it places where glass containers are prohibited and we think that's a huge win!

Classic Vacuum Steel Pint Glass retails for $23.00.

  • Luxury Watches for Men - A Fashion Statement or Practical Gadget?

Watches are one of the few fashion statements that men are allowed to wear. They help define our look and make a statement - just like a bracelet. But they are also practical. As I look around today, it's an interesting time to be a man. The question is - what drives this resurgence of watch wearing? Is it simply that the watch is an interesting and practical gadget or is it that this is simply a fashion statement that society allows us guys to make without question?

  • Panasonic Arc3 Electric Shaver Review

The search for the perfect shave is a journey that virtually every guy I know has undertaken at one point in his life. Whether straight blade, disposable, rotary, or foil shaver, everyone has a different preference but one thing I think we can all agree on is that it's a challenge to balance that "rough look" with looking good. That's the sweet spot that Panasonic's latest offering hits and does well.

  • Who Else is Going to the Best Buy Holiday Shopping Event?

That's right guys! It's that time of year again - when we can pretend that we aren't just shopping for our kids and start playing with toys that we want (to buy for them of course!). Make sure you check out Best Buy's Holiday Shopping event on Saturday, November 7 from 1-5 pm. This is a great opportunity to drop some serious hints to your wives and girlfriends about what gifts guys really want. Plus, they're giving out a free tech gift for the first 100 customers in each store so you'll want to go early. I don't know about you but here's some of the things I'm looking forward to checking out...

  • Introducing the Toshiba Radius 12 Laptop at Best Buy

When I travel it seems like I bring a ton of stuff with me these days. It's changed a lot since the days where I simply traveled with my camera and a notebook but over the past couple years it seems like "laptops" have finally started to be truly useful for traveling. They aren't just miniature computers they also work as a tablet for watching movies on a plane and they are small enough and light enough to slip into my backpack easily. With the launch of Windows 10, it's time to look at getting a new laptop to take advantage of the new software on hardware that is designed for it. That's one reason I'm excited about the Toshiba Radius 12 2-in-1 laptop.

  • Sometimes The Only Way to Try Something New is to Surprise Yourself

I enjoy fresh produce - honestly I do, but as I have gotten older I have started to fall into a rut. I buy the same peppers, the same cucumbers, the same lettuce and I'm pretty happy. For several years now, I had heard about CSA programs (community supported agriculture) for a while now but never did anything. Essentially how these programs work is that you sign up for a weekly delivery of produce fresh from the fields and it's a bit of a pot luck special with what you'll actually get. I've just never signed up because I assumed it wouldn't be as great as it sounded. On the other hand, I'm a big fan of the monthly "box" sites. They are great for getting surprises and frankly while some of it isn't useful, it is always fun to experience something that is new and different. That's exactly what I found when I tried our Farm Fresh To You

  • Good Cigars Deserve a Great Home: NewAir Humidor CC-100 Review

I've been a cigar smoker since my early days in the Navy, now 25 years later I've upped my cigar storage to the next level. Recently we received a NewAir CC-100 Cigar Humidor.  After having had it 3 weeks now we think it’s great!  This "Cigar Cooler" is a new idea for me but makes sense.  I once lost a couple of hundred cigars because I bought a few hand rolled from a vender in the Dominican Republic that were buggy.  A few weeks later I discovered why you don’t buy questionable cigars!

  • Mothers Day Gift Guide 2015 - Gifts Dad Will Want to Steal!

Shopping for our wives and mothers is tough and if you are like me, it is often super easy to transpose what "you want" with what "she wants".

While buying the perfect gift for mom is always a challenge - I've been told that the number one thing that they are REALLY looking for is a hug, a phone call, or if you happen to be there making them a great meal and saying thank you for all the hard work they have done. (Whatever you do though... make sure you don't leave the dishes for her to do later!).

So, with that in mind, here is our list of gifts that we know mom will love, but you'll enjoy buying and using too...

  • Celebrating Opening Day and Life's Special Events With Authentic Baseball Gifts from Steiner Sports

Opening Day is happening all across the country this week and I personally couldn't be more excited that baseball season is back again. There is something special about this time of year and frankly no other sport can match the feeling of going to a ballpark to watch your favorite teams compete against each other. Baseball is something visceral at the center of the American soul - it is the sights, the sounds, the food, the smells, and the experience of sitting there with your best friends and family members throughout the summer. On top of this experience, it's something that is affordable for virtually every American. While going to a rock concert, a hockey game, or a football game may set you back $50-$100 for tickets alone, baseball tickets at most parks can be had for $25 or less per person.

This is why sports memorabilia and in particular baseball memorabilia makes such great gifts for father's day, graduation, promotion, or just because. It's about memories and celebrating life in a way that nothing else out there can possibly even come close.

  • BlueDriver Review - ODB2 Scan Auto Diagnostics For Everyone!

Are you like me and have wondered what super secret information the mechanic knew about my car when he plugged his computer in to read diagnostic codes? I was and so I was excited when Lemur Monitors sent me a review unit to take for a spin.

Gadgets like this make a great gift for guys who are curious about how their car is actually performing as well as a powerful new tool for those of us who like to take control of their car maintenance vs just blindly dropping the car off at the mechanic to find out what's wrong :)

  • Bottles & Wood - Handmade Gifts From Your Favorite Beverages!

  • Daisy BB Guns Make Cool Christmas Gifts for the Whole Family!

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.

Things have changed a lot since I was a kid. Back then, we all played games like Cowboys and Indians or Cops and Robbers.

Today things are a bit different and in many parts of the country, guns have been demonized as something only thugs and crazy people use but I feel strongly that it's important to teach kids the importance of respect for guns and gun safety while showing them how much fun they can have with shooting as a sport. Because of this I was very pleased to join this the campaign with #CollectiveBias to help promote how a Daisy BB Gun can make a great gift this holiday season.

We are going to give you a chance to win a $100 Walmart gift card as well and don't forget to follow along on social media using hashtag: #ItsADaisy as well.
