Hey all, so I don't normally do reviews of iPhone games here, but since the iPhone / iPod touch should be one of your top travel accessories for any Mancation, I wanted to write up a quick review of Maze Craze Trucker, the latest game from Entertaining Games.

The game features a retro-styled top down arcade-style world that places the player as a trucker racing through the streets trying to pick up as much cash as possible before the clock runs out.

Each level features a progressivly difficult goal, so, as you can imagine, this means the game starts out a bit laid back, but after a few levels you start really getting into the game to the point where it is almost impossible but like the arcade games of the 1980s it compells you to continue so you can beat that next level and get just a little farther than your friend.

If the sign of a good game is that you curse in frustration but keep going, then this game is a winner!

Is it worth the money, HECK YEAH ... at only $0.99 you really can't go wrong and it is the perfect thing to kill time while on that plane ride to some awesome golf at Wild Dunes.

I haven't had a chance to write stuff up yet about whitewater rafting, but certainly that is one of the great things to do for a guys weekend or mancation. A few years ago I had the opportunity to go rafting in Vermont and I had a blast. Whitewater rafting is a perfect opportunity for male bonding as it requires strength, ballence, wits, intelligence, and courage. Most of all, it requires teamwork and leadership or else your whole group is going to tip over or worse.

At the end of the day you and the rest of the group can share stories, drink beer, light a camp fire, and cook some great steaks. What more could you want in a mancation adventure?

So if going rafting is awesome, wouldn't being a whitewater rafting guide make the ultimate job?

There is more to taking a mancation than just going to some awesome place with your guy friends, it is also about doing it in a manly way. No I don't mean with beer and nudie magazines tucked beneath your arms, I mean going on a trip in true manstyle.

I was contacted last night by a guy who is doing just that. Sure they are heading off to Mexico for a kick ass bachelor party and are doing it on motorcycles but what makes this the epitome of a mancation is that they are also doing what guys do best - going over the top with cool gadgets so that everyone else can see just how great their trip is going to be.

So I say Kudos!

A few months ago I came across this group of guys in Chicago that started a group they call ManBQue or Man-B-Que. Either way, it is a great way for guys to gather, share stories, share recipes and eat lots of meat! After all, you can't always go away from home to get some quality time just with the guys. The official Man-B-Que Rules are a little over the top, but generally there are just a few that are essential that I'll be emulating this weekend in Bartlett (about 30 miles west of Chicago):

1. No Vegetarians
2. No Kids
3. No Wives, Girlfriends, Mistresses, or other Females
4. Each man needs to bring meat to share
