Camping trips are a brilliant way to spend time outdoors and connect with the guys. There's a sense of freedom and positive masculinity when you are out there in the elements. Not only are you close to nature but there is also a protective barrier of distance from your group and civilization in general that provides comfort and comradery. Aside from this though, simply being in a different environment opens up plenty of new possibilities for adventure beyond what you can do in your own backyard. This is especially true for city-dwellers where nature is limited to rodents and cockroaches and lights obscure the sun and the moon. These are just some of the reasons why I love getting out of the city and going camping. Let's take a look at some of the other awesome stuff you can do on a camping trip with the guys beyond just sitting around the fire telling stories and drinking cans of beer.

I feel like dash cams are a lot more popular in Europe and other parts of the world than they are here in the United States. However, as someone who loves gadgets, I've had the pleasure of testing out more than my share of different dash cam devices over the past decade or so. They've come a LONG way in those years and it's fun to see long time leaders like Garmin joined by newer competitors like Nexar, RedTiger, and dozens of smaller competitors who you've probably never heard of before. One of the most exciting segments of the industry though is the rise in dash cams that support cloud storage backup.

Writing reviews is tough ... especially when it comes to something like video games where people who play more, have more skills and experience that you, and quite frankly "care more" about the games than most normal people ever could. There are many times when I've read a review that completely pissed on a game but then I found some moderately enjoyable redeeming feature that made the work something that I could recommend. This isn't the case. The reviews are generally accurate and as someone who was once a game developer, it pains me to admit that.

inter is usually cold and flu season but it seems like during the spring a bunch of my friends get "colds" ... these are often simply alergies masquerading as a cold or the flu but either way, it sucks to get sick. Unfortunately, too many men ignore the early signs and this leads to it getting worse. Others such as one of my friends who came back from a weekend getaway with some of his friends has made multiple shopping trips to get groceries and medicine ... exposing others to whatever he might have picked up. Let's face it, us guys can be pretty dumb when it comes to being sick so I thought this might be a great opportunity to share some advice to help recover more quickly while also helping to prevent spreading things to those folks around you!
