  • I don’t usually talk about sex, but for the past few months I’ve been enjoying great sleep in a Reverie Sleep System. The reality though, is that sleep isn’t the only thing that we do in our bed and I’m sure that’s true for most of you guys as well. When selecting a bed there are so many options and how comfortable you are laying down to sleep isn’t the only thing to consider …

  • For a while there, TV's were just about higher resolution, bigger screens, more contrast - and those are all great things that we now take for granted. But what's exciting to me is when companies make their products BETTER to use. That means not just slapping "smart" on the the chassis but actually doing something to make them more user friendly and more capable. That's what VIZIO is trying to do with their new P-Series line of SmartCast Ultra HD High Dynamic Range Home Theater Display™ TVs.

  • This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gladiator GarageWorks. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have been a fan of the Gladiator brand for many years. Sometimes though, it's hard to believe that the same company (Whirlpool) that makes machines designed for the kitchen and laundry room can make some of the toughest, most manly organization products on the market today. Well, actually that's not so surprising when you think about the durability and design that everyone loves from their products in the Kitchenaid, Whirlpool, and Maytag brands. But when it comes to the garage, Gladiator is one of my favorite brands and once you experience it yourself, you'll see why.

  • How many times have you thought about - or maybe you did - buying a bike for your kids? Those late Christmas Eve nights spent in the cold garage, quietly assembling the bike so they wouldn't hear... only to surprise them on Christmas morning... Now it's your turn! Granted, you won't be able to keep it a surprise but this would make a great opportunity for you to spend some time with the kids and teach them some important mechanical lessons. Heck - as I found out, it's a great opportunity for yourself even, since you'll get a much better appreciation for the different parts of your bike compared to simply buying it from the store.

  • Camera drones are all the rage right now and they are typically hundreds dollars or more and require a license to fly. For those of you that just want to play around though or for those that want to see if this is something you actually want to invest in, the MOTA JETJAT Nano-C is perfect option.

  • I travel a lot and when I do, it's nice to be able to check on the home and watch my dog to see what she's up. There's something comforting about being able to monitor the house when you aren't there that makes it easier to enjoy where you are and what you are doing.

  • I'm sure you guys use protection, but if you don't there's a high likelihood of catching a virus or having someone steal your identity. It's not a matter of if, but when today, so we decided to take a look at Webroot's SecureAnywhere Internet Security Complete. It's a suite of security products designed to not just remove viruses and malware but can also protect your privacy and help you recover from ransomware attacks.

  • March Madness is almost over, unfortunately my favorite teams are all out of the running but I'm still excited to see how things playout this weekend. Unfortunately I'm going to be away from home and that sucks - except for the fact that I have Slingbox! So, this weekend and next week while traveling I'll be able to watch all the action on my phone as well as even through my DVR by connecting to it at night to watch SportsCenter and catch up on all the predictions. What's even better is that I'm giving a Slingbox 500 away to one of you, so make sure you check that out at the bottom and enter for a chance to win one!

  • Even though technology has made stuff a lot easier for us these days, it's also made things that much easier for thieves to wreck havoc on our lives. A few months ago I got a letter in the mail about my "new Verizon account", having received a half dozen or so mobile devices for review I thought nothing of it. Maybe one of the PR companies set me up with a free account I thought. It wasn't till a month later when I got the bill that I realized that this wasn't right. Unfortunately, this is a pretty common thing these days and it isn't the first time I've had something happen either.

  • I LOVE mobile tech and when I got the opportunity to be among the first to play with the brand spanking new Galaxy S7, I jumped at the opportunity. Not only did I get the phone itself, but AT&T set it up with their DIRECTV App so I can watch all of my favorite games anywhere I go by streaming them live to my phone. With March Madness in full swing, now I'll never miss a game - no matter where I'm at. Plus, the phone itself is phenomenal combined with AT&T's fast, reliable network that's perfect for streaming the games... but also downloading apps to keep up with scores, sharing photos, and posting smack talking posts on Facebook and Twitter.

  • I get a LOT of packages delivered to my loft and as anyone who has ever lived in an apartment complex knows - it's sometimes difficult to tell if someone knocks on your door or your neighbors. As a result, I often times will run downstairs... only to find out that it was for my neighbor instead. While a traditional doorbell would have probably solved this problem I didn't have the ability to run wires and even if I did, that wasn't really worth the effort. Now though, with Ring I'm able to both tell if someone's at my door - but also find out of it needs to be signed for. Even better is that I can do this remotely via my phone or tablet.

  • March Madness is here and shortly we're all going to be headed to our corners to fill in brackets that will define our conversations for the next few weeks. As we enter this period, it important to do things the right way! So, let's make the most of out of March Madness, without sacrificing family, work, or your health while doing so.

  • Selecting a watch was once as simple as saying "I want the black one". In fact, there's almost no area where innovation has been as core to the industry as watches and clocks. From the early days when accurate timekeeping was critical to navigating a sailing vessel to the new world to today when your watch isn't even really just a timepiece, this industry is amazing. For those of us who love to travel to extreme and exotic locations though, this means that no matter where you are going there is a watch that is perfect to take with you!

  • It's been a few weeks now since I got my Reverie sleep system installed and in that time I've been sleeping around - well in hotel rooms that is. In the past, while I loved coming home to see my wife again - I dreaded my bed. That's not the case anymore though. Yeah, this sounds like I'm schilling for them - and YES I did get a fantastic sleep system but it really has made a difference.

  • Like many things, dashcams are more popular overseas - especially in Russia and I'm sure you guys have seen those crazy car accident videos and wondered, "how on earth did they capture that?" The simple answer is that millions of people around the world are starting to install dashcams or dashboard cameras and frankly I think it's just a matter of time before it becomes standard as a feature for new cars. Today though, we're going to talk about the GoSafe 520 dashcam that we were provided for a review during our drive around Vegas last month.

  • Unfortunately I couldn't be there in person to witness all the amazing unveils in person, but over the past few days there have been an avalanche of new devices announced at Mobile World Congress. If these devices are as exciting as they sound then it's going to be a fantastic year for guys who love gadgets as much as I do!

  • One of the first reviews I ever did for this site was a product from Octa when they were just starting out. It was a quirky tablet suction cup mount for tablets with a whale's tail shaped kick stand. Since then, the company has grown and expanded but they've maintained their sense of humor and design acumen for creating ingenious solutions that are as fun as they are useful.

  • Over the next few months, I'm going to be talking a bunch about my new bed that Reverie sent me. As you guys know, a bed is pretty important - even if we don't think about it that much. About two years ago I moved to San Diego and left my old bed in Chicago. At the time we were planning to just buy a cheap "bed in a box" foam mattress that would last us a few months till we saved enough to buy the "right one". Unfortunately that day never came and we got to see the dark side of cheap foam mattresses. As of a few days ago though I got a huge upgrade when Reverie installed our new bed with their awesome Dream Supreme Sleep System.

  • There's a lot of cool stuff coming out right now. Most falls into "fun and entertaining" or "bigger/smaller, faster, prettier" though and there aren't that many things that really stand out as being a game changer and something that everyone should have in their home. goTenna is one such item and I am thrilled to have been chosen to test it out earlier this month.

My wife and I fight over air fresheners in the car. She says that the car stinks (and she's probably right) but I hate those fruity and flowery smells and even worse is a flower clipped to my air vents. Seriously, that's a major buzz kill when guys jump in the car and stare at a pink flower. I came across a company called FreshTech™ though that offers a solution to both of my problems, so I decided to test it out.
