Much attention is paid to the dangers that women face while traveling but men face danger too, especially when traveling alone in new places. One of my challenges with managing this site over the past decade is that the concept of a "guys weekend" tends to evoke images of wild, balls to the wall partying when in fact that's just one way to go. While I love technology and I'm a huge fan of urban mancations with all the luxuries that come along with that, sometimes it's good to go off the grid. Planning a rugged wilderness adventure far from technology will allow you and your buddies a chance to test your abilities and relax, without the constant vibration, beeps, and artificial lights of modern technology.

With the hot days of summer rapidly coming to an end, it's time to start thinking about how you will be spending those cold winter days. For many of you that means spending time in the garage or shop getting home improvement projects done. Even if it's more of an excuse to spend some man time alone, rather than actually getting a DIY project done the simple fact remains - this is a great time to start thinking about what tools you might want to add to your collection this year!
