  • When you think of a Caribbean cruise, typically it's all about relaxing on beaches and sipping fruity frozen drinks - and I enjoy that too. However, for guys looking for adventure, the Caribbean offers WAY more than that. In particular, Eastern Caribbean cruises offer a chance to play some of the best greens in the world, explore rum distilleries, and chase amazing game fish too. Of course, there's even more excitement on board the ship as you visit islands including Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten.

  • I've had the opportunity to visit a lot of different golf courses and while most are entertaining and have their unique aspects, few have the WOW FACTOR that TPC Danzante Bay does. It's a hidden gem located on the Sea of Cortez, less than a two hour flight from LA, San Diego, and Phoenix. Not only is the course phenomenal - but it's surrounded by some of the best fishing and off-road adventure terrain known to man.

  • Whether you’re a Tiger Woods fan or not, this past weekend at the Masters was definitely something very special in the golf world.

  • Of all the cities in the United States, it's hard to find a better mancation or guys weekend destination than New Orleans. The Big Easy – which deserves its nickname, by the way – boasts some of the best restaurants, music clubs and bars in the world, all in a fun, eccentric, party atmosphere.

Guys who like fishing and golf will be amazed at the opportunities for outdoor recreation during the day. There's so much to do, you and your buddies might have to make the New Orleans trip an annual ritual.

  • One of our favorite places to visit are the barrier islands found along the South Carolina coast just south of Charleston. This is a magical place of incredible beauty and just the right amount of seclusion where you can feel special... but still easy to get to. While the entire coast here from Myrtle Beach to Hilton Head is dotted with legendary golf courses, Kiawah Island is special for the fact that it isn't an overdeveloped resort area. Here, among the waves, white sand beaches, and sea grass you can relax and enjoy a great golf getaway.

  • The U.S. Open is coming back to Pebble Beach for the sixth time - but this one is special since Pebble Beach Golf Links will be celebrating its 100th year. The 119th U.S. Open Championship will be held from June 10-16, 2019 and this is your opportunity to be part of golf history. This post is a living document that we plan to update with additional information as we get closer to the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. To start with though, we've scoured the internet to help answer all of your questions. Comment below if you have questions about the championship. Let's kick things off with some basic information that you'll need to know if you are thinking about attending the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, including tickets, transportation, and lodging!

  •  Looking for a fun golf getaway in the Caribbean? Ocean Club Resorts might be the place and is located right along the award winning Grace Bay Beach and within a short walking or driving distance from Provo’s 18-hole championship golf course.

  • If there’s one thing you can guarantee about any sport, there’s a language to it that is unique.  It can even be regional with different terms meaning different things around the world. With golf, there is a language, including slang terms, that are used around the world.

  • While Scotland and the British Isles might seem to be the prime destination for a great round of golf in Europe... Spain is a top destination that you won't want to miss. With sun soaked coastlines, fantastic wine and food, and a price that is more affordable than other parts of Europe, Spain might just be perfect for your next lads holiday or guys golf getaway!

  • For many guys, their first bachelor party was one dominated by debauchery and youthful indiscretion. Unfortunately though, not all marriages last and here you are a few years later, wiser, and ready to take your buddies on an epic golf adventure. There's no better place than exploring the British Isles for the ultimate golf mancation. This is a great way to combine luxury, an exotic location, beautiful scenery, history, beer... and yes golf together in a way that creates memories that will last a lifetime.

  • There are many schools of thought with how to pick the right golf resort for your guys getaway and in fact the choice may not even be a single resort - but a golf destination with lots of different options instead. Here's some advice to help you sort things out ahead of time so that everyone is as excited as you are to hit the links.

  • Discover the attraction of golf in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach. Located on Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast halfway between Sarasota and Fort Myers, the Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach area offers year-round play on more than 20 courses ranging in level from executive to championship. The area is ranked the 3rd Best Place in America to Live and Play Golf by Golf Digest. Scenic vistas and spectacular landscapes provide the backdrop for naturally inviting play on courses that include two ranked 4½ stars by Golf Digest and three Audubon-certified courses.

  • Casa Velas is a boutique hotel located only a 10 minute ride from the Puerto Vallarta airport that offers nightly activities including cigar rolling, tequila tasting, craft beer tasting, and cocktail making, plus includes unlimited golf at three different Puerto Vallarta golf courses. We stayed here as a guest of the hotel and had a fantastic experience that might make this one of our favorite destinations.

  • Florida is one of my favorite places to visit and it is filled with hundreds of golf resorts, beautiful beaches, incredible food, and in the past few years a beer scene that has gained national recognition. When planning your Florida golf guys weekend though, it's important to pick the right places, so here's a few of our top picks.

  • While I love resort courses with flowers and fancy features, being able to spend some time surrounded by natural Florida beauty on one of the state's top courses was truly an honor. Riverwood Golf Club golf course has been ranked as one of the "Top Ten Places to Play in the US" by Golf Digest in 2002, ranked #15 for top courses in Florida in 2015 and voted #1 in Florida based on customer reviews on GolfAdvisor.com and we agree that it is a great spot to visit for any guys trip to Punta Gorda and Charlotte Harbor.

  • When it comes to mancation in Australia, Melbourne is surely a great choice of destination for all those men who are looking forward to have some fun with their friends. Melbourne has an urban setting, luxury hotels offering upscale amenities, great outdoor activity opportunities and even unique golf settings. Here are some top ideas for your next mancation in Melbourne.

  • Pinehurst is one of the single best destinations in all of North America for a guys-only getaway. Founded in 1895, the course has played host to many historic events in its nearly 120 years of existence.

Three separate hotels and a bevy of villas and condos await visitors, who have immediate and access to eight top-notch golf courses. The entire area takes up a little over four square miles.

  •  Every so often I experience something that was completely unexpected while visiting a destination. A few months ago I got invited to come back up to Idaho and visit the Coeur D'Alene Casino to play a round at the Circling Raven Golf Club. Honestly when I think about "Indian Casinos" - a great golf course isn't typically one of the things I expect to experience. However, as things worked out I realized that I'd be passing through the area on my way home from exploring Montana so we decided to stop... and I'm very glad we did!

  • There are "Hall of Fame" museums for virtually every sport and pastime out there, but based on our recent tour of the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida - this is one that every golf fan MUST visit at least once. What I loved about it is that our group ran the spectrum from "golf experts" to "novices" (me), yet everyone learned something new and all of us had a great time exploring the history of this amazing sport. For me personally, I think it also changed my impressions of golf and opened my eyes for just how much history and diversity have influenced this sport once limited to rich white guys in Scotland.

  • Military history sites make for one of my favorite places to explore on a guys weekend. It's even better when combined with golf, fishing, craft beer and palm-tree-lined beaches like they are in St Augustine Florida! Castillo de San Marcos is located just outside the "old city" and is the oldest masonry fortification in the continental United States. Only Castillo San Felipe del Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico is older. However, you might not realize that it was also the site of the first golf course in Florida!
