Old Doctor’s House, Markt Einersheim, Germany: Now through November, stay at this circa 1792 home, and explore the beauty of the Franconian countryside while learning the secrets of brewing beer. Lower Franconia’s smallest brewery offers the opportunity to look over the brewer’s shoulder and learn his secrets. Located just nine kilometers from the inn, you’ll want to visit on brewing day (usually Friday) and then tour the beer-brewing museum.

High Hope Estate, Saint Ann's Bay, Jamaica: Now through the end of July, there will be a complimentary six-pack of Red Stripe beer stocked in your fridge when you check in. Jamaica is known for its reggae music, jerk chicken, Caribbean beaches...and Red Stripe Beer. Did you know that if you go into a bar in Jamaica and ask for a cold "policeman," you'll get a Red Stripe? This is because members of the Constabulary Force have red stripes down the sides of their uniform pants.

Eagle Inn, Santa Barbara, CA: Belgian or American? Light or dark? Whatever you prefer, Santa Barbara has the brew pub for you. The Old Yacht Club Inn, also in Santa Barbara, offers a beer cruise complete with tastings, lunch, and door-to-door transportation.

Bayfront Marin House, St. Augustine, FL: Nothing goes better with a warm summer Florida night than a cool beer. Now through the end of September, stay two weeknights at the regular rate and receive two free tickets to the St. Augustine Pub Crawl, including a stop at St. Augustine’s microbrewery, A1A Ale House. On the next night enjoy complimentary beer/wine happy hour on the porch. Rates range from $119-$269 nightly.

Stonebridge Inn and Spa, Batesville, IN: Offered through December, the Stonebridge Beer Lovers Microbrewery Getaway includes two nights’ accommodations with full breakfast served daily, beer sampling at Lil Charlie's (One 5 oz. glass of each of their five microbrews) and two Lil Charlie's pint glasses, plus the American Craft Beer & Food Guide and The Brewers Association Guide to American Craft Beer. Additionally, enjoy a complimentary dessert nightly, 24-hour snack and beverage service, turndown service, and unlimited use of the inn’s extensive amenities all for $375 midweek and $495 weekends.

Alewives & Ales B&B, Damariscotta, ME: With a name like this, you know beer must be the focus of this B&B!  Through June, your two-night, three-day stay includes an introductory course in brewing craft beer from the former owner of Emerald Isle Brew Works, Ltd. in Rhode Island. The rate is $350 for two adults, including accommodations, daily breakfast, and a beer-making seminar.

Sherwood Forest B&B, Saugatuck, MI:  Through October 29, enjoy the chance to brew your own batch of beer at the nearby Saugatuck Brewing Company. Work with the brewmasters who’ll offer more than 70 different recipes from summer wheat to red ales to rich porters. You will be provided with ingredients, professional brewing equipment, and brewing expertise, allowing you to create at least 11 gallons of beer (sixty 22 oz. bottles). Return two weeks later to bottle, label and sample your beer.  This “Bed, Breakfast and Brewery” package includes two consecutive nights of accommodations, daily breakfast, and the beer making experience that includes materials and hand-crafted beer to take home. This costs $512 to $695 depending on the time of year and the room.

Inn at Ellis River, Jackson, NH: The innkeepers here encourage beer lovers to ‘hops’ to it and book the “Beer-Cation” offered weekends through September 23. Start your stay with a glass of local Tuckerman’s Ale and cheese served on souvenir stoneware coasters that are yours to keep. On Saturday, check Tuckerman’s brewery (Voted ‘Best of NH Brewery Tour’ by New Hampshire Magazine). A three-course dinner Saturday evening will include your choice of one of five regional beers on tap. Depart Sunday morning with the inn’s special recipe for beer bread. The two-night package including lodging, daily breakfasts, afternoon refreshments, pub welcome, brewery tour, and dinner one evening for two ranges from $339-$559 until June 30 and $359-$619 July through September 23, depending upon room selection. Add a third night May-June for $99-$129. Note: Brewery Tours available Saturday afternoon only.

Stirling House, Greenport, NY:  Available now through October, the "B4" (B&B&Brew at its BEST) package offered in this waterfront property includes a complimentary tasting at Greenport Harbor Brewery – just “hops” away (available weekends only) with a three-night stay.  An explanation of the brewing process, tastings for at least three seasonally crafted beers and a take-home souvenir glass are all included free for guests staying three or more nights. Nightly rates of $229-$320 per room include a full breakfast.

Forty Putney Road B&B, Brattleboro, VT: Every Saturday night guests are invited to join this inn’s Vermont Beer Tasting. Seven differently styled Vermont beers from seven different breweries in the Green Mountain State are paired with such light fare as locally made salsas, cheeses, and more. The tasting takes about 90 minutes including a fun and trivia-filled "Beer 101" with resident beer geek Tim Brady, co-owner of the inn and founder of The beer tasting is $15 in addition to room rates of $179-$259 at this beer geek retreat.

Country Cottage of Langley, Langley, WA: Throughout the year, take the ferry to Whidbey Island, just north of Seattle, and discover something exciting brewing here. Add the Beer Enthusiasts package to any overnight stay, including a welcome gift basket of local treats, recipes, and a two-hour brew lesson. Chose from one of the original creations Brewer Michael McMahon has developed in Langley's first Ale House and receive special prices on Old World Ale brewing kits to create your own heady blend to brew at home.
