Cleveland doesn't get nearly as much attention as it deserves. It's a city that I first visited to go drinking in "the flats" but has now transitioned from a rust-belt city into a modern haven for innovative food, great museums, sports, and watersports. That's why it's one of my picks for a top spot to take a Father and Son vacation.
There seems to be a trend right now of talking about "Galentines Day" escapes, so how about Malentine's Day instead? Here's some awesome places guys can go and get away from it all while enjoying an awesome experience with their male friends and forget about romance, girlfriends, spouses, or relationships in general.

As if Beer and Sports weren't a good enough reason to visit Cleveland, the culinary scene there is actually pretty decent these days too. As a bit of a foodie myself, I am also always open to checking out unique places to get fresh, superior quality products.
Unfortunately on this trip I wasn't able to actually purchase anything except the sausages since I was staying at a hotel, but don't worry! In our next piece we'll share with you some spots in Cleveland where you can stay and cook up an awesome meal after your visit to the market.
Cleveland is a great town - yes, it is also the "mistake on the lake" and the place where a river caught fire years ago. Don't let that deter you though, this town really has a TON of stuff for an ultimate guys weekend or mancation. While my wife is from Cleveland and I drive by / through the area on a fairly regular basis, I really had no idea exactly how much cool stuff for guys this town has - and we touched only a small part of it during our tour hosted by Positively Cleveland.
