# Adesso EasyTouch 1500 Ergonomic Keyboard Review: Professional Productivity Meets Premium Gaming Construction *By James Hills — Updated September 2025* It took me a few moments to wrap my head around this review. I initially approached it as a gaming keyboard, given that it features switches and colored LEDs, which I typically encounter in the context of gaming gear. However, the reality is that this is far from a typical gamer keyboard. Instead, what Adesso has created is one of the finest ergonomic keyboards that I've ever seen. Think of it as a keyboard designed by a gamer who's grown up and wants keys that have a satisfying response, a comfortable padded wrist rest, macros that can be assigned to productivity functions and glowing colorful LED lighted keys to make things that much more fun even when you're not playing games. **How To Buy The Adesso EasyTouch 1500****Why You Should Buy It****Review Index** The [Adesso EasyTouch 1500 Ergonomic Mechanical Keyboard](https://www.amazon.com/ADESSO-EasyTouch-1500-Illuminated-Programmable/dp/B0FF8F8DP1?&linkCode=ll1&tag=mantr0c-20&linkId=c019b74eb2f74057c6d995d255068c97&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) is available on Amazon.com at $169.99 with Prime shipping options, offering convenient delivery and returns for this professional productivity keyboard. Before we get too deep into this review though I want to state one VERY IMPORTANT note - this is a great keyboard out of the box. I like it, I'm using it right now to type this. However, it is certainly a product that if you want the maximum value out of it then you need to approach it from the perspective of a coder or gamer who is willing to play with third party apps like VIA / QMK stuff that requires you to compile apps, use not very consumer friendly interfaces etc. to get to configuration options and macros features that we're goign to discuss below. ### Petrol and Adrenaline Guys Getaway In The United Arab Emirates Travel ideas in Dubai and the rest of the United Arab Emirates for guys who love cars. That's why I am sort of surprised that this doesn't. Either way though, I do like the product and the core experience of just using it as a keyboard works great. Hopefully [Adesso](https://www.adesso.com/) can address this in the future though as it is the only thing holding this keyboard back from greatness.   ## Man Gear Pick of the Month September's Pick Amazon (affiliate) ### Kenyon City Grill Portable Stainless Steel Electric Grill Why we picked it: a grill you can actually carry to the campsite, the tailgate or the cabin without borrowing a truck. The integrated palm rest and thoughtful key angles reduce strain during long document creation, email management, and presentation development while maintaining the precise tactile feedback that makes mechanical switches superior to membrane alternatives. ## Practical Connectivity for Modern Business Demands The wireless capability provides genuine flexibility for professional environments, enabling remote operation during presentations, comfortable positioning for ergonomic benefit, or cable-free desk aesthetics. The ability to seamlessly switch between wireless and wired operation ensures reliable connectivity during important video conferences while maintaining battery life during routine tasks. The dedicated CoPilot AI hotkey transforms routine business tasks by providing instant access to AI assistance for drafting correspondence, generating content, or optimizing workflow processes. This integration proves particularly valuable during intensive writing sessions, client proposal development, or when managing complex project documentation that requires creative input and rapid iteration. ## Productivity-Focused Programming Without Gaming Complexity VIA software support enables sophisticated macro programming and key remapping focused on business productivity rather than gaming optimization. Complex workflow automation, custom shortcuts for frequently used applications, and personalized key functions enhance daily efficiency without requiring gaming-specific software that feels inappropriate in professional environments. Red mechanical switches provide smooth, precise actuation with minimal noise output suitable for shared workspaces and video conferences. The 50-million keystroke lifecycle ensures long-term reliability for intensive business use, while the customizable RGB lighting can be adjusted to fit in with the rest of your periferals - whether that is similarly colorful or not illuminated at all. The programmable features serve both business productivity and occasional entertainment without requiring separate equipment investments. Macros that streamline business applications during weekdays can easily accommodate gaming functions during personal time, providing versatility that justifies the investment for professionals who value quality equipment. ## EasyTouch 1500 Bridges Professional Productivity with Gaming-Grade Performance The Adesso EasyTouch 1500 successfully delivers premium mechanical keyboard performance within professional aesthetics that belong in business environments rather than gaming setups. The combination of ergonomic design, wireless flexibility, and sophisticated programming capabilities creates a keyboard that enhances daily productivity while providing the component quality and durability typically reserved for gaming equipment. This represents exactly the type of innovation that bridges work and play functionality that many professionals have been seeking.
