# Review: Dreo Smart Humidifier HM735S – The Perfect Smart Home Upgrade for Busy Men *By James Hills — Updated January 2025* As a guy who loves smart home gadgets and is often on the go, finding tech that makes my life easier is always a win. Dreo has become a brand that I've grown to really trust and appreciate in my goal of having a house that is easy to manage remotely while also being more comfortable to live in. This Dreo Smart Humidifier HM735S fits that bill perfectly. It offers a combination of convenience, performance, and thoughtful design making it a must-have for men who travel often and want to maintain a comfortable home environment when they are home. ## Massive Tank for Longer Runtime One of the standout features of the [Dreo Smart Humidifier](https://amzn.to/3PHjRTM) is its impressive 11-liter (2.9-gallon) water tank. This behemoth can run for up to 100 hours without needing a refill, making it ideal for anyone who’s frequently out of the house. Whether you’re traveling for work or heading out on a weekend getaway, you can rest assured that your home’s humidity levels will remain consistent—a huge plus for keeping pets comfortable and plants thriving while you’re away. ## Powerful Performance The humidifier’s power is another reason it stands out. It’s capable of humidifying large spaces effortlessly, up to 700 square feet, which is a game-changer in my household. For instance, my father-in-law, Jim, often sleeps in our living room, a space that tends to get uncomfortably dry during the winter. The Dreo Smart Humidifier has been a lifesaver for him, making it much easier to breathe during those cold, arid nights. Its high-speed motor delivers mist up to six feet high, ensuring rapid, even distribution throughout the room. Plus, the ability to adjust settings remotely via the app means I can fine-tune the humidity levels without disturbing his rest. ### Cruising Alaska with Norwegian Cruise Line on NCL Jewel What to expect when on an Alaska cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines, based on our sailing on NCL Jewel. This one is a bit more advanced than that by working to control the right balance - not just "as much as possible" and it even allows you to add your own scents to make the room smell great too. - **11-Liter Water Tank:** Provides up to 100 hours of continuous operation, reducing the need for frequent refills. - **Whole-room Coverage:** Efficiently humidifies up to 700 square feet with a powerful motor and 5μm ultrafine mist delivery. - **Smart App Control:** Monitor and control the humidifier remotely through the Dreo app, perfect for frequent travelers. - **Sleep Mode:** Dims lights and reduces noise for a restful nighttime environment. - **Aroma Diffuser:** Includes a tray for adding essential oils, allowing you to customize the fragrance in your home. - **Pre-filter System:** Features a replaceable Dreo Demineralization Cartridge to reduce white dust and maintain air quality. - **Top-fill Design:** Easy to refill and clean, with a BPA-free plastic tank suitable for babies and sensitive individuals. - **Customizable Settings:** Adjust humidity levels, mist intensity, and scheduling with ease. - **Energy Efficient:** Operates efficiently, keeping your energy bills in check.  Ultiamtely though, the important thing here is that it works great - though in my room that is about the size of the max size that Dreo lists (700 sq-ft), I never have been able to reach 60% that some say is the preferable level. However, it does comfortably bring it to 50% and over the past few days with abnormally dry outside air, that's made it much more comfortable for our family. This is especially important since we are all cpap / bipap users and dry air makes things that much worse for [folks with sleep apnea](index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4054:what-men-discover-after-starting-therapy-for-sleep-apnea&catid=16:stuff&Itemid=530). ## Man Gear Pick of the Month September's Pick Amazon (affiliate) ### Kenyon City Grill Portable Stainless Steel Electric Grill Why we picked it: a grill you can actually carry to the campsite, the tailgate or the cabin without borrowing a truck. The app lets you monitor and control the device from anywhere, which is perfect for travelers. Forgot to turn it on before leaving? No problem. Want to switch it to sleep mode to keep the lights down at night? A quick tap on your phone gets it done. You can also set schedules, receive cleaning reminders, and customize humidity levels with voice or remote control—an excellent option for men who like tech that works as hard as they do. ## Thoughtful Design Dreo has clearly put a lot of thought into the user experience. The sleep mode is a fantastic feature, dimming the lights and reducing noise to create a more restful environment. Its aroma diffuser adds an extra layer of comfort, letting you fill your space with relaxing scents. Additionally, the top-fill design and 12-hour timer make this humidifier incredibly easy to maintain and operate. ## Why It’s Perfect for ManTripping Readers For men who love to travel and appreciate the convenience of smart home gear, the Dreo Smart Humidifier HM735S is an easy recommendation.
