During this tour, my eyes were opened wide to how complex the science and art of making great whiskey can be. While I knew that the mash bill and number of years aging in the barrel had a big say in how whiskey tastes, there's a whole lot more than that!

Blade Runner: 2049 Cocktails of the Future from Johnnie Walker

Johnnie Walker is the most popular brand of whisky today ... and apparently that's true in 2049 too since they've partnered with the new movie, Blade Runner 2049. To celebrate their inclusion in the movie, the brand has released a limited edition "Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director's Cut" bottle and sent in these fun futuristic cocktails as well.

Rice and Company at Luxor Las Vegas

One of my favorite things about visiting Las Vegas is the food scene. There's always something new and fun popping up and because of the competition, innovation is constant. On this most recent trip, we were invited to check out Rice & Company, a pan-Asian restaurant located right between Blue Man Group and Carrot Top's theaters inside of the Luxor resort at the south end of the strip. It's the perfect spot for pre/post show drinks as well as a complete dinner to keep you going all night long.
