However, it's sweeter, smoother nature compared to other whiskey cousins offers a fantastic opportunity to mix it up into some delicious creations. The folks over at Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey seem to agree since they sent over some fantastic recipes for us to share with you guys! [Proper No. Twelve](https://properwhiskey.com/) is one of the fastest-growing Irish Whiskey Brands right now and it is relatively unique in that while it is a grain-only Irish Whiskey, the spirit offers a blend of golden grain and single malt that results in a smooth and approachable taste with hints of vanilla, honey-like sweetness, and toasted wood. ## 40-Second Knock Out Created by Sonny Verdini, Bar Manager, TRADE (Boston, MA)  - 1.5oz Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey - 1 cinnamon syrup - .75oz house made ginger liquor  - .5oz lemon - 3 dashes Angostura Bitters Directions: Shake into a single rocks glass. Garnished with a dehydrated cinnamon-sugar & lemon wheel.   ## Proper Champ Champ Blitz - 2 parts Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey - 4 parts Orange Soda - 1 orange slice Directions: Pour Proper No. Twelve over ice. Top with orange soda. Garnish with orange slice. ## Proper Notorious MMA-nhattan - 2 oz Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey - 1 oz sweet vermouth - 3 dashes angostura bitters - 1 brandied cherry Directions: Combine Proper No. Twelve Whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters into a mixing vessel. Add ice and stir. Strain into a coupe/martini glass. Garnish with a cherry.   ## ## Proper HOT Chocolate - 1 part Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey - 4 parts Hot Chocolate Directions: In a mug, combine hot chocolate and Proper No. Twelve. Top with marshmallows or whipped cream.   ## Love Dr. Proper - 2 parts Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey  - 3 parts Dr. Soda Directions: Pour Proper No. Twelve over ice. Top with Dr. Soda.   ## Proper Irish Coffee - 2 oz Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey4 oz hot coffee.75 oz simple syrup2-3 oz heavy cream Directions: In a shaker or jar, shake or whip heavy cream until slightly thickened (not completely stiff). In a mug, add Proper No. Twelve Whiskey, hot coffee, and simple syrup. Stir. Carefully layer on top the thickened heavy cream until it covers the drink. Optional grating of nutmeg on top.   ## Proper Iced Coffee - 1 part Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey  - 4 parts Cold Coffee - Milk or creamer of choice - Sweetener of choice Directions: Fill glass with ice. Add Proper No. Twelve and cold coffee. Add creamer and sweetener to taste. Stir to combine.   ## Proper Cider - 2 parts Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey - 3 parts Warm Apple Cider - Cinnamon stick (optional) Directions: Combine warm apple cider and Proper No. Twelve.
