It's hard to imagine a more hard core job than being a US Navy SEAL. These are the guys we call on to do the impossible and if they do it right, we'll never even know what they did. SEAL Team, staring Judd Lormand and a cast of other bad-ass dudes (and ladies) is one of the hottest shows on CBS TV right now. The show follows the team as they train, fight, and execute high-stakes covert missions around the world. 

There are some amazing video games out now for the Playstation 4 and this fall is a great time to be a gamer. If you don't already have a PS4, these titles will probably make you want to put on on your wishlist. Hopefully Santa is in a good mood this year!

If you are looking for an experience involving bearded guys throwing axes, chopping through logs, and some friendly nationalistic competition between the United States and Canada - then this is one spot in Ketchikan you need to visit. The one hour lumberjack show features real ESPN competitive lumberjacks and it's fun for adults as well as kids. 

Yellowstone is a new series airing on the Paramount Network, which was formerly known as Spike TV. Starring Kevin Costner as widower John Dutton, the family patriarch on a sprawling ranch in southwest Montana, the modern western focuses on the struggles brought about by greedy land developers, angry Native Americans, local politics and family angst.

History channel has got another hit on its hands! We just got a preview of their newest show, Truck Night in America and I absolutely love it. They managed to capture everything I love about the off road truck community and combine it with competitive sports-TV shows like American Ninja Warrior. One of the competitors featured in the first season is Teresa Lummus from Idaho and we got a chance to chat more with her about her love of trucks and the experience of being part of Truck Night in America. 

I woke up this morning and saw Warren Miller trending all over Twitter and Facebook only to find that he had passed away. His films inspired multiple generations with the groundbreaking adventure cinematography that mixed breathtaking visuals with fantastic humor. I suspect that even those that don't ski will enjoy his films as much as those that watched them and imagined that one day they too would be able to tackle ridiculously amazing landscapes like those show in his films. Here's some of my favorites to help celebrate his career as one of the best ski and sports filmmakers of all time.

Another year, another Star Wars.  This time, we have The Last Jedi, Episode VIII of the Star Wars series, at least the sequential series.  While there isn’t a lot that is very original going on here, and it retreads The Empire StrikesBack in much of the same way The ForceAwakens did with the original film and parts of Return of theJedi, it does so far more competently and coherently than Episode VII did, and it’s a fun and engaging movie, visually stunning at times.  While John Williams’ score that might not rank at the top of the series’ offerings, it is at the very least par for the course.  And, to be fair, how much more can you really do with the Star Wars score at this point, and how much is even needed?

We're headed off on another amazing tour, this time to visit the Arkansas Delta for a music and BBQ tour that is sure to rank up there with my best trips ever. And so are it's bigger brothers and sisters if you need something larger than 40" with 4K support. For just under $300 though, you really can't go wrong with this TCL Roku TV (model 40FS3800). I'm an active user of both Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV, but frankly speaking Roku has them beat.

 Rogue One is the Star Wars movie fans have been waiting for since 1983. Simply put: Rogue One delivers!

If you were like us here at ManTripping, last year's The Force Awakens was a fun, but fairly bland and forgettable nostalgia piece that was too dependent on fan service and too hindered by its safe script that was riddled with contrivances and poor dialog, as well as a protagonist without any real character arc. Rogue One, on the other hand, will prove that all they needed to do to rekindle the Star Wars spirit in fans was to actually make a good movie.

Allied is a fun and bittersweet date movie, but it's not the action film or spy drama the trailers might have you believe.

We think this Stay Puft man is pretty cool as ar the other products that Underground Toys has produced as part of their license with the Ghostbusters movie. While honestly I hate feminized movies that are made simply for the fact of making it a "girl thing", these toys are fun and you can just pretend that it's a throw back to the original series if you want when you buy this as a gift for the man in your life!

For many of us, John Marshall Jones is living a life that we can only dream of. Not only has he been a successful movie and TV star but now he's going to be staring in one of the top video games of the year - Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, which is due out on November 11 - as Amiral Raines. 

Among his other credits are more than 100 TV show appearances including roles on "The Mentalist" "Hart of Dixie" "Shameless" "Glee" and "Pretty Little Liars" and he's also going to be in the upcoming film, "Paint It Black". 

As stoic in demeanor and violent in action as ever, Matt Damon returns to the titular role in Jason Bourne after a nine year hiatus and a temporary series handoff to Jeremy Renner in 2012's The Bourne Legacy. And everything is just how you remember it.

It's starting to be that time of year again - we're passed the Christmas crush of new games an gearing up for the spring. As a huge fan of the Far Cry series, I'm super excited about the pending release of Far Cry Primal. So, I decided maybe it was time to do a roundup of some of the other games that will be coming out this year that I'm looking forward to as well!

Up until a last year I wasn't a fan of roulette, I preferred blackjack and slots. The game of roulette was too complicated. Then a friend (who happened to own a casino) showed me how to play. Since then, it's become one of my favorite games as despite the complexity it is really pretty fun and easy to play. This is why roulette is one of the most popular table games at both land-based and online casinos today. Simply put, it has an elegant pace and the anticipation of watching the ball skip by your numbers is almost mesmerizing. I also love the fact that there are so many ways to bet... and despite the fact that everyone has their own methods... there's really no "right" or "wrong" way to play roulette.

Seeing great bands that bring back memories of highschool are always great, but when they are free and you can enjoy not-overpriced booze, well... that's even better! I love Fremont Street so much, that I'm going to call it the Fun Side of Vegas from here on out. It's taken some time for Fremont Street to gain traction but it is absolutely on a roll now with some great hotels like The D, Golden Gate, and Golden Nugget as well as great free entertainment virtually every night. To extend things even further, the Fremont Street Experience launched Rock of Vegas Summer Concert series. We were there last week to see the Spin Doctors and Cherry Poppin' Daddies and had a blast!

The Ant-Man franchise comes on the heels of the ridiculously successful Avengers: Age of Ultron and last year's Guardians of the Galaxy. While an original member of the team in the comic series, this was perhaps seen as a riskier franchise than Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, or Captain America, the far more recognizable members of Marvel’s premier superhero group. Previous efforts to bring Ant-Man to the screen suffered a variety of pre-production setbacks, never quite reaching the screen. But now Ant-Man is here, and Marvel seems intent on grabbing audiences’ love for snarky, roguish heroes. Whether or not this is really faithful to the Ant-Man franchise, you’d have to ask a comic book reader far better versed with the character than I, but it works for this movie, for the most part. Ant-Man combines a superhero movie with a heist movie, adds in a legion of arthropod sidekicks, and entrusts the comedic talents of Paul Rudd to steer the thing, which he does admirably.
