throttle series gaming chair

Clutch Chair Throttle Series Gaming Chair

Honestly, I wasn't planning to include a gaming chair in this guide originally because good ones cost money. There's simply no way around that. However, I read the awesome Clutch Chair reviews over at UltimateGameChair.com and I was hooked. Plus, it just looks cool and is super well made. Who wants to play a racing game with a wheel mounted to the desk and sit in just any old office chair? Not me! Buy it on Amazon for $469.99.

linksys wrt32x gaming router

Linksys Gaming Router WRT32X

While any router will allow you to play games over the network ... the serious gamer needs that extra edge. That's where the WRT3X from Linksys comes in. It synchronizes with Killer-enabled PCs (available on Gaming PC brands including: Alienware, Gigabyte, MSI, and Razer). This helps prioritize game traffic above everything else and has been shown to reduce ping times by up to 77%. It features a Gigabit Ethernet switch and superfast AC WiFi speeds up to 3.2 Gbps. It also features an open-source ready software OpenWrt and DD-WRT so that power users can further customize it to best fit their needs. Buy on Amazon for $189.95.

bloody hand gaming mouse sp30

SP30 Gaming Mouse from Bloody Gaming

There are certainly some fancier and far more expensive gaming mice out there, but I'm giving bonus points to this one from Bloody Gaming because the name is so cool and it's look isn't going to make your desk look nerdy. I like the straight up black plastic with lighted red accents. Inside, it has a great response rate and is a definite improvement if you are still using the mouse that came with your PC. It also has the ability to create macros and customized sniper modes fish that extra edge over your enemies. Buy it on Amazon for $59.99.

occulus rift

Oculus Rift + Touch Virtual Reality System

Not too long ago the only choice for those wanting to enjoy VR Games and other entertainment was super expensive systems approaching $1,000. While those super high-end systems still exist, there's a great sweet spot right in the middle these days. That's where Oculus Rift comes in - at only $349 it's half the price of options like the HTC Vive but has professional features like motion controls and integrate audio. Another great choice is the Oculus Go, for $199 that doesn't require you to drop in your phone like Daydream / Google VR or Samsung Gear VR, nor do you need to connect it to your PC. However it is substantially less powerful.
