• Road Trip Review: 2018 Chevy Bolt EV

I'm a huge fan of electric vehicles. The promise of emissions free car travel that is both quick and quiet is something of a dream for simply cruising down the road and enjoying a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately, until recently EVs were expensive, had limited range, and in many cases were "Electric Vehicles" as opposed to cars powered by electric motors. That last point is a subtle distinction but an important one. While I enjoyed the promise of cars like the Kia Soul EV and the Mitsubishi iMIEV they were really products designed for a limited audience. With the Chevrolet Bolt EV, Chevy is offering a car that doesn't sacrifice anything.

  • Understanding Invisible Disabilities

When people hear or read the world disability they inevitably imagine a wheelchair or crutches. These outwardly visable disabilities are easy to spot and most people are extremely compassionate and accommodating, but what about someone who has a hidden disability? Are you quick to judge that someone is taking a spot they shouldn't be or receiving benefits that aren't due? It can be a challenge since many of us are wired to assume people are taking advantage of others but that isn't always the case.

  • Easy Everyday Ways To Go More Green

There are plenty of ways we - as a race - are contributing to damaging the environment. And in many ways, it seems easy to put the blame on governments, populations, and corporations.

However, if we all focused on improving our daily habits at home, we could make a significant difference. And no matter what side of the climate change debate you reside in, the simple fact is that being greener in the home is going to end up cheaper.

  • Miss The Days Of Fun Action Movies Like Die Hard? See Skyscraper

Channeling the spirit of Die Hard with some video game era grandeur, Skyscraper won’t be the cultural icon its predecessor was, but it’s a heck of a lot of fun for its hour and fifty minute run time.

  • Mustang GT Fastback Review

Ford's Mustang is one of the most iconic vehicles on the market today. Very few vehicles have survived the generations the way this one has and chances are that you father and grandfather lusted after one the way you do now. While there have been good design years and bad years, the current generation 2019 Mustang is clearly a winner. With looks to kill, a super comfortable interior, and a distinct engine / muffler noise that can be modulated from quietly start out of the garage in the morning... to a F&$@ YEAH! I'm in a Mustang roar that will wake up the neighborhood.

  • Safety Razors Are Back, It's Time To Ditch That Electric Shaver

Safety razors have recorded a comeback into the mainstream world thanks to their high quality and durability. Business professionals prefer shaving with a safety razor instead of choosing disposable products that eventually fail regarding shaving quality. Since the average man travels at least once a year due to work or personal life, you’ll find a new challenge in searching for suitable safety razor travel cases.

  • Bigger and Better In Texas - BBQ, Trucks, and The Pixel 2 XL

A few weeks ago, our friends at Chevrolet invited us down to Texas to drive some trucks and eat BBQ. A day later, Verizon asked me if I wanted to check out the Pixel 2 on an upcoming trip. This was a match made in heaven, since even though Chevy always offers their built-in wifi, it's nice to have a great phone connection wherever you go too. Plus, the Pixel 2 XL has one of the best cameras out there so I was excited to check it out. Let's take a look at what we experienced.

  • What To Look For When Selecting a Phone Case

There once was a time when I looked at cell phone cases simply as something "other people" bought... I didn't need a case, I'm always careful with my phone. Right? Wrong... The reality is that phones today are super fragile and at the same time exposed to all sorts of different dangers from accidental drops to being scratched against keys in your pocket or backpack. • Guide To Throwing a Summer BBQ Party

For us men, the summer can only mean three things: warm beer, terrible t-shirt tan lines and firing up the grill. But while we can live with the first two spanners in the works, nothing is worse than letting a barbecue bash fall into the realm of disappointing. That’s where we are meant to thrive. It’s where we’re meant to come alive as cooks, hosts, and humans.

  • Why Are We As Men Afraid To Ask For Help?

A lot of us feel that we need to hold up a certain image to the world. As young boys, we are told to be supermen - "real men don't cry" - and other lessons to toughen us up. While I'm strongly in favor of encouraging boys and men to stand up for themselves, tackle obstacles, and generally "be men" about things in life. However, just like few people teach us how to SPEND money vs saving it... few of us ever learned how to know when to ask for help. Instead, asking for help is looked at as a weakness.

  • Biena Chickpea Snacks - A Protein Packed Healthier Snack

When I first got contacted by the folks at Biena I thought this was a joke - flavored chickpea snacks? Seriously? However, not once had I ever thought of them as a snack food tossed in flavors like Habanero and Rockin' Ranch... much less Girl Scout Thin Mint! Yet here we are.
