Single guys, listen up. You need to know the best cities around the world for single guys! We're not looking for just any old city -- we're talking about the hottest destinations with a high female-to-male ratio and plenty of things to do on your own or with friends. A few weeks ago I came across two brothers that are living the dream. They are completely consumed with promoting Canadian travel and tourism to the point where the guys bought an RV and traveled from coast to coast sharing what they discovered. Now, in addition to blogging and speaking, they run an amazing video podcast travel show where I was a guest recently. I'm sure we're going to be talking more with them in the next few months as we start to recover from the Pandemic and I know I have my sights set on a fishing trip and maybe some off-roading or even just a laid back wine trip in the Okanogan Valley as soon as it is safe to go out again!

Aviation museums house some of the coolest collections of humanity's engineering marvels - flying machines, aka airplanes, and everything that led up to the modern airplane. Aviation actually begins far before the invention of the first functioning powered airplane by the Wright brothers in 1903. It includes theoretical and experimental designs beginning with blueprints and proceeding through gliders and balloons before that. Aviation museums include these homages to the early history of man's first dreams of flight. Today, there are literally hundreds of aviation museums around the world and that means that it is very likely that there are aviation museums near you that are perfect for a father and son getaway or even just a regular guys weekend. 

Expedition voyages are one of the fastest-growing segments of the luxury cruise market. While once this was synonymous with Arctic and Antarctic cruises, I'm thrilled that new players are opening new markets. While some may not see the Great Lakes as being glamourous compared to cruising past penguins and thousand-year-old chunks of ice, the Great Lakes offers a unique and relatively unexplored part of our own country that are also are central to the science and history of our global climate history. 

Canada is a fantastic destination that sometimes gets overlooked. It has a fantastic mixture of urban refinement and a remarkably diverse blend of some of the best cultures from around the world but it also has vast virgin forests just waiting to be explored. While Canada has a reputation for being overly polite and welcoming to outsiders. That doesn't mean you should travel there unprepared.

Vancouver is the gem of Canada's west coast, with tons of unique experiences to offer any travelers who come through. There's the beauty of the coast and the mountains, and the big city life, but there are also a lot of local subcultures and communities that are more unique to Vancouver. If unique local experiences are more your flavor, you absolutely have to seek out these lesser-known charms of Vancouver.

Every metropolis has the things which make it specific. If we talk about Toronto, the biggest Canadian city, there are numerous things which can be seen and experienced. Toronto is the Canadian capital of culture, technology and entertainment and truly a world-class city that you should consider visiting. From sports teams like Maple Leafs, Raptors and The Toronto Blue Jays, to the Hockey Hall of Fame, as well as fishing, kayaking, and sailing on the lake. There are tons of great activities for guys in this city just over the border.
